SITE SURVEY AND WALKTHROUGH

A successful site walkthrough starts with a detailed pre-design floor plan.

When the technician arrives with camera locations already identified, the walkthrough has a clear purpose. The technician knows which entrance, corridor, controlled door, and proposed mounting position must be documented.

Now capture the reality. With OneSurvey PRO, the technician selects the exact icon on the tablet, photographs the proposed mounting location, and turns 180 degrees to capture the intended field of view.

Every picture stays connected to its floor-plan icon. Voice notes and field conditions remain inside the same device record, including anything the senior designer needs to check.

Two locations are complete. A ceiling obstruction at the third location is flagged before the project moves forward, and the designer can see the condition without searching through separate folders or message threads.

A prepared walkthrough gives the field technician a clear route and creates usable evidence for the design team. And the collected information becomes part of the project record as soon as it is captured.

The designer can open each icon and see what the technician saw onsite, shortening review time and reducing follow-up questions after the walkthrough.
